RofCon General Info

All the information below is not all the information you will need. More information will be included in your confirmation email after you have sent us a email with a screen shot of your purchase confirmation for RofCon.

What to bring?

1. Bring clothes for the weekend

2. Bring hygienic products please!

3. $60 min. for food

4. Goverment Issued I.D (not school I.D)

5. Chargers

6. A small camera

7. Cosplay items and outfit (NO METAL BY ANY MEANS!)*

8. Comfy shoes

9. Small bags are allowed in the Con only. Big bags will cause you to be turned away at the door (unless it's for medical reasons).

10. Personal snacks/food

*Note - metal weapons can be bought at the Con, but please take them to your car or hotel room shortly after purchase. If you are found with any metal blades, knives, swords or any other real weaponry, your item will be confiscated, and you will be removed from the Con immediately.

EMBASSY IS BOOKED! What do I do now?!

The top four cheapest hotels other than Embassy Suit are the following:

- Best Western - $71 per night (Includes breakfast)

- Extended Stay America - $62 per night (Includes breakfast)

- Redroof Inn - $45 per night (has a snack center)

- Days Inn Hampton - $50 per night (includes breakfast)

Where can I go to eat?

Upon arriving to Hampton Convention Center you will notice that there are numerous amounts of places to eat as far as the eye can see. Majority restaurants are not far at all. To see the exact locations for all restaurants in the area, click here.

I have to come up after the club leaves but I need a ride, what do I do?

If you, for whatever reasons, can not meet up with the group at 4:30 PM on March 17th, you may want to arrange something with a relative or friend to bring you and pick you up. If this is not an option, your best alternative is to take the greyhound. Greyhound* Express has discounts for students (must purchase Student Membership = $22.50). It is still very cheap without the the student membership!!!​ Leave and return dates have already been selected for your convenience. Prices do not include Student Discount). *The station for Greyhound is located across the street from Walker E. Hoffman Courthouse and the Scope.
