The TCC Norfolk Anime Club was founded by TCC alumni, Tamarr, in 2011 and is overseen by Stephen Cushing, the Norfolk Campus Student Center's fearless leader.

 

Today the club has become a very popular and diverse society of individuals who welcome in about 10 people every semester. The TCC Norfolk Anime Club is a non-profit club geared towards educating its members about Japanese culture through anime, which is 50% of Japanese Pop culture.

OUR MISSION 

 

Our mission is to educate members and future members about the Japanese culture through anime in a fun and lively environment, while encouraging and creating unity within the student body through similarities and differences.

 

 

OUR GOAL

 

We want our members to leave college with fun, eventful memories and long lasting friendships. We also want to instill in our peers to travel, study abroad, learn a new language and encourage social interaction. The TCC Norfolk Anime Club is proud to be a part of the positive stepping stones that will help lead its members to a greater destination in life. We hope that by becoming a member, one can take with them a better understanding of anime, Japan and it's culture.
