Welcome Home!

The TCC Norfolk Anime Club would like to proudly present our first and official Maid Cafe! We are so excited to welcome home our goshujinsama's and ojousama's!

What's a Maid Cafe?

A Maid Cafe is an anime themed cafe in which waitresses are dressed as maids and greet their customers with "Welcome home My Lord/My Lady". This gives the illusion that the customer is rich.

When Are Maid Cafe Events?

The Cup'O'Moe Maid Cafe at TCC loves to spread moe throughout all of TCC, but we also help local businesses around the Norfolk campus.  To stay in the loop, check our Events page and NAC Blog!

Maid Cafe Audition Requirements

1. Participants must come to the Cup'O'Moe Maid Cafe Audition with the audition form signed along with a paper printed clear headshot. Blurry images will not be excepted.

2. Participants must be a TCC Student who is currently enrolled in the 2017 Fall Semester. This requirement does not apply to girls auditioning for the annual MiNiCON.

​

3. Participants must come to the audition dressed in comfortable clothes and must stretch before auditions. We are not responsible for any injuries that may occur during or after auditions.

​

4. Participants must be female. (we apologize if this is an inconvenience to the LGBT community and are working to remove this requirement in the near future)

 

5. Must be able to learn dances easily.

 

6. Must have open availability to commit to practices.*

7. Must purchase uniform. ** [$70]
​
8. Waitress experience is a plus but not required.
 
* If you miss too many practices, you will be removed from the dance, further absences will result in your removal from the Maid Cafe all together.
** The dress belongs to the club and will need to be returned at the end of Mini Con. NO EXCEPTIONS. You will be reimbursed 50% of the amount you paid for the uniform (this does not include shipment).

9. Participants must remember to smile and have fun!
